Cycling accident may lead to personal injury compensation

A cycling accident that caused a man to suffer a head injury could result in him launching a pursuit for compensation.

According to the South Wales Argus, the unnamed 54-year-old is currently being treated at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff after he collided with a fellow cyclist in the A48 road in Castleton.

During this mishap, the man suffered a head injury and the news source noted that medical professionals at the institution have described his condition as "serious but stable".

The other male involved in the incident was not hurt and the police are currently investigating what caused the accident to happen.

If it is ruled that his injury was caused by the negligence of another road user, he may decide to seek damages.

Recently, STV reported that a cyclist sustained broken bones when he collided with a car in Aberdeen, an incident that may also result in a compensation claim being launched.
