Woman secures compensation after road traffic accident
A woman who was the victim of a road traffic accident has been successful in her bid to secure compensation.
In August 2005, Carol Coleman was in the passenger seat of a car when it spun out of control near the village of Walton in West Lavington, the Salisbury Journal reports.
The vehicle was being driven by her husband at the time of the incident.
As a result of the impact, she suffered damage to her back and muscles.
Ms Coleman - who is from the cathedral city of Salisbury in Wiltshire - sued her spouse's motor insurers, who did not dispute liability in the case.
However, the two sides could not agree on the amount she should receive for her suffering.
A High Court judge was set to rule on how much she is entitled to but an agreement was reached between the two parties before this could occur.
