Road traffic accident to lead to damages claim?
A road traffic accident in Shropshire which left a baby with a serious head injury could result in a claim for personal injury compensation.
According to the West Midlands Ambulance Service, the child, who is one years old, is in a stable but serious condition at the Birmingham Children's Hospital following the collision, which occurred near the town of Ludlow on Wednesday (December 15th 2010), the BBC reports.
The incident involved the car the baby's mother was driving crashing with a lorry causing the motorist neck pain - which could possibly be whiplash - as well as a chest and wrist injury.
It is not yet clear how the accident happened, but both the driver and passenger in the other vehicle were unharmed, the news source went on to say.
A spokesman for the West Midlands Ambulance Service - which serves a population of around 5.3 million people - stated: "When crews arrived, they found a car that had very significant front end damage. The lorry had side damage."
