Motorcyclist seeking compensation after crash
Compensation of up to £100,000 is being sought by a Briton left seriously injured following a motorcycle accident in Germany.
According to the Bolton News, Steven Brewer sustained a fractured vertebrae and a broken wrist when he was involved in a crash with a car in Cochem in July 2009 and has since been unable to return to his job as a fishmonger.
The 49-year-old's writ served to the High Court in London notes that he suffers from headaches and pain in his back, shoulders and ankles, which means he cannot carry out everyday tasks such as gardening and window cleaning.
In addition, Mr Brewer is now too anxious to ride a motorcycle after battling with post-traumatic stress disorder for around six months after the incident.
Consequently, he has decided to take legal action against the insurer of the Swedish driver he collided with on the grounds of his physical and mental injuries and loss of earnings.
