Man with whiplash to seek compensation?

news image A man who sustained whiplash injuries during a road traffic accident involving three vehicles may be eligible to pursue a claim for personal injury compensation.

According to the Daily Echo, a male, who is 33 years old, suffered the condition - which involves the damage of tendons in the neck - when a collision occurred between a Ford Transit van, a black Volkswagen Beetle and a blue Ford Focus last Tuesday (December 14th 2010).

It is unclear as to what caused this incident on the M27 - which is situated in Hampshire and connects the south coast urban areas Southampton and Portsmouth - and police are therefore appealing for the driver of a black Audi hatchback who left the scene to get in touch with them.

However, the injured motorist may opt to seek damages for his health issue caused by the collision.

PC Darrell Holmes told the news source it was "imperative" to trace the driver who left the scene.
