Families seek compensation over sickness
Two families who suffered from sickness while on holiday are seeking compensation for their suffering.
The Braces and the Mills are taking legal action over a vacation they took in the summer of last year, Peterborough Today reports.
While staying at the Bahia Principe Hotel in San Juan - which is located around a 60-minute drive from Puerto Plata International Airport in the Dominican Republic - they became ill.
They were among hundreds of holidaymakers who suffered from gastric problems after being infected.
Recently, the two families rejected offers of £1,000 per person from First Choice, saying it is not enough and they should get more.
Martin Mills said: "It has been going on for so long now that I think they hope we will forget about just how horrible it was and just accept the money to get it over and done with."
However, he wants to take his case to court, he added.
