Anglia Lead Limited - which was founded almost 150 years ago and specialises in roofing work in the south east - was found to be subjecting its members of staff to dangerous amounts of the substance at its plant in Norwich as they cast molten lead into industrial sheeting, following an investigation by the Health and Safety Executive.
