According to the Spalding Guardian, Sharon Essam sustained cuts and grazes to her hands and knees when she fell from her mobility aid while heading across her street in Spalding.
The 40-year-old - who is paralysed from the waist down - has called on the council to repair the pothole, as it is positioned in line with the dropped kerb outside her home in Gedney Drove End.
Consequently, she has to take a significant diversion to her job at the local primary school in order to avoid the hazard.
"I rang the county council a week and a bit ago for them to send someone out but they say it isn't urgent because the pothole isn't deep enough," Ms Essam told the news source.
