Professionals struggling with stress at work should strive to make sure they remain physically active.
That is if comments made by Charlene Hutsebaut, fitness expert for The De-Stress Diet at de-stressyourlife.com, are anything to go by, as she believes it is vital for individuals to exercise if they are feeling anxious.
Ms Hutsebaut insisted that physical activity is "extremely effective and important" for these people as it can help them relieve their stress and relax, with "medium to low-intensity" activities being most effective for this purpose.
The expert went on to say that "incidental exercise" or using activities as part of an individual's daily routine - by doing things such as taking the stairs at work or stretching at their desk - is important to de-stress.
Recently, Kevin Friery, clinical director at Right Management Workplace Wellness, said mental anxiety among workers is a problem still not taken seriously enough by many bosses.
