Ross Ewan, 29, stated he could not remember the incident, which happened as the 19-year-old girl was leaving the venue with her friends.
Solicitor Paul Ralph said Mr Ewan was "contrite" and accepts he behaved in a "ridiculous" manner, reports the Perthshire Advertiser.
"She was standing near to the exit when the accused came up behind her and grabbed the bottom of her dress with both hands and pulled it right up," added depute fiscal Stuart Richardson.
Mr Ewan was also ordered to pay a fine of £200, although it was accepted by Sheriff Richard McFarlane - who was appointed to the Scottish courts on a part-time basis six years ago - that there was no sexual element to the incident.
This means that his name will not be added to the Sex Offenders Register as a result of the prosecution.
