Car crash could lead to compensation claim

A car crash in the Midlands could result in a driver seeking compensation.

Two women were taken to hospital for treatment following a collision the junction of Fosse Way and Darlingscote Road in Shipston-on-Stour, near Stratford.

The injuries of one of the females to her abdomen and pelvis area were described as "potentially serious" by a spokeswoman for West Midlands Ambulance Service, reports the Coventry Telegraph.

"Once freed, with the assistance of the fire service, the woman was treated at the scene," she told the newspaper.

More treatment was then given to the female after she was airlifted to University Hospital Coventry, while the woman in the other car was believed to have suffered injuries to her chest and was taken to Warwick Hospital.

STV recently reported on an incident in which a 31-year-old was involved in an accident with a car, suffering head injuries that required treatment at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
