Biker could seek compensation after crash

A claim for compensation could be pursued by a motorcyclist who has been injured in a road traffic accident in Shropshire.

After colliding with a car on the A4169 at The Hem at around 16:00 BST yesterday (July 24th), the biker hit a fence and a hedge, reports local newspaper the Shropshire Star.

The 34-year-old from Telford was riding a Suzuki motorbike and was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.

He hit a Daewoo Kalos, which was being driven by a woman from Newport, while ambulance officials stated he was lucky to be alive following the accident, although he only suffered lower leg injuries in the crash.

Earlier this month, it was reported by online resource This Is Grimsby that local resident Andy Craig has called for more to be done to prevent road traffic accidents in a collision blackspot after another incident resulted in the death of a motorist.
