According to the Lancashire Evening Telegraph, three people required medical attention for injuries such as whiplash - which can affect muscles, ligaments and tendons in the back, shoulders and neck - following the collision in Billington yesterday (April 6th).
Paramedics attended the scene and the trio - comprising of two men and a female - were later taken to the Royal Blackburn Hospital, which was opened in July 2006 and is managed by the East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust.
Therefore, the involved parties could opt to seek damages for their ordeals once the cause of the crash has been discovered by the authorities.
