According to online news resource Get Reading, the young man, who is 16 years old, is currently in intensive care following an incident in which he sustained a fractured leg and skull as well as chest problems.
He is now under observation at Oxford's John Radcliffe Hospital - which is managed by the Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals NHS Trust, an organisation that also runs five other institutions in the area - after undergoing surgery on his leg.
The report noted he was riding a motorbike and was involved in a collision with a car in Reading last week, which has left him in a "critical but stable condition".
Therefore, the teenager could decide to pursue a claim for personal injury damages after the cause of the accident is determined.
